85. Site Analysis

A variation of the standard roof plan, usually at 1:200 showing notation and findings that refer to how the design and site respond to their natural environment.

Information may include (but not limited to):

  • views to and from the site
  • solar access and overshadowing
  • noise sources
  • overlooking
  • views and solar access enjoyed by adjacent properties
  • adjoining and nearby land uses
  • prevailing wind direction
  • orientation, microclimate and noise sources
  • significant vegetation.
